The A-2 Deck Jacket was developed and issued to the U.S. Navy in the 1960's as the successor to the N-1 Deck Jacket. Our reproduction uses the same heavy cord cloth as our N-1 deck jacket, a fabric which was used for a short transitional period for early models before they changed over to a 50/50 nylon-cotton blend. The specifications of the pockets and cuffs are faithfully reproduced following the pattern of an early 1960s models.
